The course of our lives can be altered in just moments by what I refer to as Divine appointments. I have been blessed to meet many people in my lifetime who have told me that their lives have been positively altered by a single comment that was graciously channeled through me and surely by a presence greater than myself.
For years I have been journaling common sense and often humorous bits of wisdom that have come to be known as Pearlisms. While we may never meet personally, I sincerely believe that strangers are friends we have yet to meet. So my friend, inside you will find a few of my favorite Pearlisms, illustrated by photos I’ve taken or paintings I’ve created that inspire life lessons. I hope they will warm your heart and put a smile on your face. Life can be so good!

About The Book

I have 50 years of experience as a hairdresser and a PhD in life! I am a California native, transported to Mississippi by marriage for 9 1/2 years. I returned to my childhood home in California as a single mom of a beautiful 6 month old son that my beloved mother and family helped me raise.
For the past 20 years, I have been focused on transformational personal development — physically, mentally, financially, spiritually — and, I still enjoy cutting friends’ hair as an artform.
